Your front tire looks so narrow... solid loop though. some tree trimming would definitely be in order, to get rid of the low hanging branches and really narrow spots. how long did the loop end up being? 
what is the model # on that derailleur? On my last build I almost went 8 speed, but 9 speed was cheaper/easier to find xt stuff. My road bikes still aren't even 10 speed! 
How long are those rear stays with the sliders tucked all the way in?
